Welcome to the Tamar Area Prostate Support Group web site.
Following the AGM the focus of the Tamar Area Prostate Support group has changed.

The monthly meetings with speakers being arranged has stopped and the group will be more proactive in raising awareness of prostate cancer outside of the group.
​
It is intended to have monthly "social" coffee mornings on the second Tuesday of each month starting at 10:00 at Louis Tea Rooms, Kitt Hill, Callington.

The Tamar Area Prostate Support group (TAPS) was formed in the summer of 2018 with the aim of providing support to those with, or affected by, prostate cancer. You may be in the process of being diagnosed, treated or in the post-treatment phase of prostate cancer.

It provides for those in the broad Tamar Valley area, eg from Tavistock to Liskeard to Launceston, for whom the alternative support groups in Plymouth, Torbay or Truro are maybe too distant.
​
The group is available to give prostate cancer awareness presentations. Use the 'Contact Us' facility if you would like a presentation.
Look out for the TAPS stand at local shows.
